My colleague @Lauren I have been using the Ion torrent 16S Metagenomics Kit to sequence some clinical samples that we have. Our sample sets are both longitudinal. The kit consists of two primer sets, one for V2-4-8 and one for V3-6,7-9. The products of the reactions are pooled per sample, and then the rest of library prep is completed. I was referred to the 21 Day Fix Extreme workout by a friend of mine who is in great shape, so I figured if it gave her the results she had, I'm in. She was very clear that I should get the extreme version instead of the regular one, so that's what I did!
The program has been created twice - the first time it was recorded as 7 workouts that are repeated 3 times each for a total of 21 days. The second time, they recorded 21 individual workouts that build with intensity so it's not as hard on day 1 as it is on day 21.
Both versions of the program are available on Beachbody On Demand (which I LOVE) and I'm warning you now, the first workout starts with Plyometrics. This is the hardest of all of the workouts in the program, so I'm a little surprised it's the first one. It's basically jumping with weights and if that sounds challenging, you're on the right track.
I've been doing Beachbody workouts religiously since 2016. I've done almost every program there is, but nothing has come close to 21 Day Fix Extreme in terms of results and fun. It's also the most popular program the company every launched.
That depends not only on the workout you're doing (plyometrics will give you a more significant burn than yoga for example), but also it depends on your ability to bring intensity to the workout. That said, you can expect to burn 300 to 500 calories for a an intense workout and less than 200 for the yoga recovery day.
I recommend anyone who is going to buy this program to get the performance pack with it. It includes a pre-workout drink that will give you the energy you need to go hard. The harder you go, the better your results!
If you're afraid you don't have the chops for working out, I recommend getting the Performance Line Pre-Workout as that will give you additional energy to make it through the intensity of some of the workouts.

While we were analyzing the Torrent network, we decided to dissect an interesting sample of malware related to a huge botnet spreading in the wild. This has been dubbed Sathurbot.
